Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog! This is the first part in a new series I'm doing to become more goal oriented and to make some pretty mood boards! I want to give a big shout out to Caitlyn for inspiring me to do this, and to Lola for coming up with this!
Here is my mood board for March!

My goal for March is to take better care of myself and practice some self-love techniques!
I showed that on this mood board by using soft colors, textures and words. My favorite quote (that unfortunately got cropped in the making of this mood board) is:
"If I am worth something then, I'm worth something now."
I think this is a super powerful quote and definitely something to live by for two reasons. The first is that I need to stop dwelling in the hardships of my past and instead look to the future. The second is that I am worth taking care of, no matter what.
I often find it hard to deal with this second point. When I fall down into those depressive thoughts, it is often difficult to think positively. This quote is a good simple mantra I like to use for those times. I know I will do big things someday, and even if I don't I know I will be worth it. If I am worth it then, I have to be worth it now. Without building the foundation for my future by taking care of myself, I can't expect to get anywhere.
How are you practicing self-care this month?
That is a good question! My favorite form of self care is taking nice long baths in the Jacuzzi using one of my fancy bath bombs that my parents gave me! It is so relaxing. Unfortunately, not everyone has access to these things. Here is a list of simple ways I practice self-care on the regular!
I read blogs about productivity (which in turn inspires me to be more productive)!
I clean the space around me, or on rough days I try to at least make my bed!
I turn on cute cat videos and eat my favorite (moderately) healthy snack!
I cuddle my real life cat!
I talk to my boyfriend about my worries!
I talk to God about my worries and I read the bible!
I light a candle or two!
I draw how I'm feeling, or paint it!
These are all great ways to practice self-love! Just remember, do what you can. Self-care is not a competition. I believe in myself, and I know I can improve this month! Thanks for reading!
Thank you so much Caitlyn!! That is so nice of you! :D
Yay I loved reading this!! Those two cat photos are literally so cute!! The one with the lipstick on the cat's head is adorable.
